Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on 18 November 1985, in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix had an early aptitude for sports when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting ability at the moment. Ten weeks after the first attempt she made her skills, she placed 2nd in the 200m race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003, Felix graduated from high school and signed a professional deal with the athletics company Adidas prior to matriculating at the University of Southern California where she was studying elementary education. Her first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record running 200m in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to take home the 200 meters race. In 2007, she won this title and beat her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top third in each of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
